The LJUBLJANA RESORT HOTEL *** (tourist superior category)

Ljubljana Resort Hotel is conveniently situated near the highway, only 10 min walking distance (1,5 km) away from Arena Stožice, and 10 minutes away from the old city centre of Ljubljana. In addition to its nice location by the river, the resort is also famous for an excellent restaurant, and easy access to public transportation.  Close to the hotel are many interesting cycling and hiking paths.

There are a total of 168 beds in 60 rooms (32 rooms with air-condition), all newly furnished with modern furniture, allowing for a comfortable and relaxed stay. The rooms are single, double and triple. Being a family friendly hotel, we also have bigger rooms available that can accommodate up to five people. One room is adapted for people with disabilities. All rooms feature cable TV, radio, telephone and mini bar, while the ground floor rooms also have balconies. The whole resort is covered by wireless internet. For those who would like to pamper themselves, a large massage bath has been installed in two rooms with king-size beds. Every bathroom comes with a shower, toilet, sink, bidet, hairdryer and radiator for drying towels.

Next to the hotel there is also a Fitness Centre, a top a la carte restaurant - Štern, and the Laguna Swimming Pools that feature two large hydro massage pools (1700m²), children’s playground and pool, and a nude beach with showers. Laguna has been voted the best outdoor swimming pools in Slovenia for the past 8 years! There are also many options for sports activities – beach volleyball courts, table tennis, a basketball court, and a playground for children. For organizing bigger events we also have a winter garden, and an event tent available. Very close-by us is a bus station for the city bus that takes you to city centre every 10 minutes.

You can go fishing in the Sava River – you buy the fishing permits at the reception. Other activities include horseback ridding, and rafting, which is only 5 km away from us, and , if desired, we can also organize the transportation. There cycling paths are all around Ljubljana. Since last year there is also a new golf course only 7 minutes away with a car.

In 2014, Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, will celebrate its 2000th anniversary of the beggining of ancient Emona. The livelist part of the city is by the river Ljubljanica in the centre, especially during summer when many shows and concerts take place almost every night.
